• All Horai products come in gift packaging made from kraft card, which is made from wood pulp and it skips the intensive bleaching and dying processes used in regular packaging. It can also be easily recycled or composted.
• Our tealight cups are made from recyclable virgin polycarbonate and the wax is sustainable.
• Our reed diffusers come in recyclable glass containers. You can easily peel off the label too.
• The postal packaging includes either shredded paper or biodegradable packing peanuts, boxed up with plastic-free tape.

• Soy wax is made from the oil of soybeans. This is a renewable source unlike paraffin which is derived from petroleum.
• Soy tealights produce minimal soot which is better for your health and means you won't get black stains on your walls.
• Soy wax is non-toxic, so it's a safer choice for your home.
• Soy wax burns slower than paraffin wax, so you can enjoy burning your tealights for longer.

Note that many candle companies claim to use soy wax, however they can be blended with paraffin wax or contain additives. All Horai tealights are made with pure soy wax blended with fragrance oils that are free from chemicals that could harm people or pets.
